Our beloved Sheairs Princess Ice, born December 4, 1998, in Terre Haute, passed away July 25, 2012. She was also lovingly referred to as "Ice", "Icer", and "Sis". Ice is survived by her pet parents, Wade and Kerri Boughman; human siblings, Eli and Thadd; and Grandma Sue, Grandpa Bill, and Grandma Marlene. Ice was a very active girl and enjoyed playing with her balls and rope toy. When she was younger, she enjoyed playing with shoes, toilet paper on the roll, and any stinky bone Santa brought to her. Icer loved activities with her family including tailgating at Purdue games, dancing, riding in the car, and howling. She was particularly fond of getting her head petted and her ears rubbed. Ice did not like being sick. When she was younger, she enjoyed sleeping with her chin on a shoe and also, of course, in the bed. As she grew older, she preferred resting anywhere cooler, such as the tile floor in the half bath or the granite floor in the laundry room. She enjoyed eating anything the kids were eating and was quite fond of carrots. There are so many wonderful memories with Ice such as dressing her up in clothes and then taking her picture. When she was younger, if you howled, she would howl with you. We called it singing. Icer was only six weeks old, so tiny and so sweet, when she was brought home. We would have birthday parties for her and bake her a dog friendly treat. We would also wear hats. She and I went through obedience training together. She was such a good dog, very stubborn, but oh so smart. When she was younger she was always at the door to greet us when we came home. There are countless memories of Ice that make us smile. Ice was an amazing dog. There will never be another dog like her. We were blessed to have her in our lives for almost 14 years. I have lost my best friend. She was by my side through some dark times. I don't know what I would have done without her. There is a hole in my heart, a loneliness that cannot be explained. I loved her so much and I will always love her. I will see her again one day on that Rainbow Bridge. Til then Icer, I love you forever.
