Hobbs, Myndell, "Odell", age 80, of Mesquite, Texas passed away peacefully on 7/26/2012 at Christian Care Center. She was born on 5/20/1932 in Lohn, Texas to her parents, Marvin and Velma.

Odell was one of 6 children. She married James Scott Hobbs in Brady, Texas on January 5, 1951. They had 3 child(ren). She attendend business college in San Antonio. She was a longtime resident of Mesquite, Texas for 54 years. Odell was a member of Galloway Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed church activities, sewing, crafting, quilting, traveling, cooking, cake decorating, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends..

Odell will be remembered by her loving husband and their child(ren) Kathy Hobbs Graham and husband Larry, Marion Hobbs and wife Christie, and Barbara Hobbs.. She is also survived by grandchildren Jayme Graham Bennington and husband Buck, Lucas Graham, Ashley Cole, Erin Hobbs and great-grandchildren Brayden Bennington and Brynn Bennington, sisters and brother Beverly Osborne, June Parrish and husband Gene, Jon Virdell, and Gayle Baxter,brother in law James Deeds, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.. Predeceased in death by spouse, James S. Hobbs, parents Marvin and Velma Virdell, and sister Ann Deeds..
