Joshua Brent Mickler, 32, of Killeen, formally of China Spring, passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident on Saturday, September 1, 2012. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at the Destiny World Outreach, 101 North W.S. Young in Killeen, TX.

Josh was born on August 12, 1980, in Dalhart, TX to Sandra Mickler Haliburton and Jesse Mickler. He grew up and graduated high school in China Spring. Josh had a love for sports and lifting weights. He loved playing football and baseball in High School. He was voted Prom King his senior year. He was Head of Sales and Marketing for Stylecraft Builders Yowell Ranch, in Killeen. He was a member of the Destiny World Outreach Church, in Killeen.

Josh had an infectious smile, laugh and he loved being around people. He had a magnetic personality that you were instantly drawn to. Josh was one of a kind and could make every situation exciting. He knew how to make people smile and love life. He had an adventurous soul. His neice Harley called him "Uncle Firecracker" and the name suited him well. He recently became a father to a precious baby son, Nolan. He loved Nolan with all of his heart.

Josh is preceded in death by his grandparents: Noraene Stallings; Jerine and Richard Mickler.

He is survived by his son, Nolan of Waco; his parents, Stacy and Sandra Haliburton of China Spring and Jesse Mickler of Waxahachie; brothers: Eric Mickler and wife Jennifer of Caddo Mills, Casey Haliburton of Austin and Colten Haliburton of China Spring; niece, Harley Mickler of Caddo Mills; grandparents, Jack and Edith Haliburton of Lubbock; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is setting up a trust fund for his two month old son, Nolan and will post the information on his facebook page: In Memory of Josh Mickler, when the final arrangements have been made.
