Dear Denise and Family;
Bruce's smile; only gleamingly overshadowed by his love and grace will embrace you each and every day. The days have been long and the nights even longer filled with worry and anxiety, all amidst his courageous battle fought with you by his side. May his incredible will and courage touch your hearts with ease and comfort now; knowing he is at peace. May your lives be filled with the joy, and gifts he bestowed upon you. As you go forward, live as he did; even in his struggles battling leukemia. Our dearest condolences and prayers to you and your family. As always Denise, Hugs to you and I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

As nurses, we are taught to not have "favorites", but human nature teaches us differently. Bruce most certainly broke that rule. He was an inspiration to us all with his perpetual positivity and courage through it all. We will miss his smiling face. Linda Nute, RN Norris Cotton Cancer Center
