Condolence & Memory Journal

Roberta had a great smile, a wonderful sense of humor and an effective, gentle way of helping people reach the right conclusions. I loved her approach to life, her amazing stories, and her dedication to her family. She was such a warm, unique person and I see her in so many things. I will miss her to the end of my days.

One of the most amazing women I have had in my life. Best friends since 3rd grade. She taught me many things through the years. I miss her dearly, but talk to her every day.

I am still in disbelief. She cared so much more for others and always put herself last. We talked about everything but never planned for this. Talks about her family, especially Leigh always put a smile on her face. She will not be forgotten and I hope you can all find comfort remembering all of the good times. Love to you all, and
I am here if you need me.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. We had lots of friendly conversations and it was usually Lola who saw me first and beckoned me to cross the street to scratch her ears and then your Mom would come out and join us. I will miss your Mom and I will miss Lola.

What can I say about my Aunt Berti? She exuded so much love and warmth it always felt like she was more like a Mother than an Aunt to me. It was like I had two Moms every time we'd go visit her. She was the first person besides my own parents and that I told when I had my first child. That she was happy to learn she was now a Great-Aunt goes without saying. Everything she was to me, everything she will always be to me, makes her much more than just "Great". She will be that everlasting hug goodbye. I will miss her horribly. May her memory be for a blessing.

Roberta was my neighbor and very dear friend for almost 20 years. She was a delightful lady - always witty, smart, helpful, understanding, compassionate and caring. In every way she was a very special woman that I shall miss so very much. But I am so grateful that she was part of my life, and I will cherish my memories of laughter and good times together with her.

I was very sad to receive this news. My deepest condolences to Roberta's family and friends. Roberta was such a great woman with an amazing sense of humor. She has been so good to my Mom (Sally) and I am so grateful my Mom had her as a friend these past years. The world lost a very special lady with Roberta's passing.

Roberta was always the first person ready and willing to help others. To me, she was like a sister. I will always remember her humor, her strength and her loving nature. She was my traveling companion and my photography buddy. I will miss her always, especially during autumn which was her favorite time of year to go on a photo excursion. She loved her family dearly, and her face beamed with pride whenever she talked about their talents and accomplishments. I will miss you, my dearest friend.

I first met Roberta 13 yrs ago when we moved here, she was a fellow curves friend. I loved her wit and caring heart. We shared many good times at curves and at our WOW book club meetings and lunches. Most of all I will miss her positive state of mind, she helped me more than I could ever tell her. I loved her my friend and I will miss her very much
