Message From The Family

Thank you for your support during this difficult time. Please enhance this tribute to Donald by adding your memories and photos.

Donald W. Lefebvre, 64, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, surrounded by loving friends and family after a brief battle with cancer.

Born in Nashua, he is the son of Olivette (Levesque) Lefebvre and the late Roland Lefebvre. Raised and educated in Nashua, he worked as a machinist and manager for over 20 years at Granite State Manufacturing.

A dedicated father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, Donald's family and friends were paramount in his life. An avid golfer, playing golf was his greatest passion. If he wasn't playing golf, he was watching or talking about golf. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brother, Roland. For several decades, Donald cherished time spent with family at their camp in Albany. Donald will be best remembered for his generous heart and love of family.

In addition to his mother, Donald is survived by his daughter, Donna Wiltz and husband Douglas of Manchester; son, Keith Lefebvre and wife Meagan of Hooksett; three grandchildren, Jayna Lefebvre, Douglas Wiltz, and Isabella Wiltz; brother, Roland Lefebvre of Albany; a niece and nephew; and extended family and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: His Memorial Gathering will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Friday, June 15, from 4:00 to 6:00P.M. followed by his Memorial Service at 6:00P.M.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Donald's memory to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr #110, Bedford, NH 03110 or to the American Institute for Cancer Research, 1560 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 1000, Arlington, VA 22209.

Sorry to hear of this. Don lived with us in the 80's for a short time when I was a teen. He taught me how to play tennis. Haven't seen him in many years but I remember him as a great guy, condolences to his family and friends.

"Don and I were very close all the years we shared at GSM. It was a shock to return from travel and find that we were done sharing our adventures for the time being. We had many discussions over the years that helped preserve our sanity. May God be with you my Friend.

It was a pleasure to be Don's next door neighbor in Hooksett for seven years. We had a lot of good times and his deer hunting skills often yielded a tasty tenderloin prepared perfectly each fall. I know his dog Rusty is happy to be with him again. Much love to Don's family and friends. Mike & Barbara
